Our research revealed that one of South Africans’ pet peeves with online shopping for groceries is receiving bruised, over-ripe or otherwise underwhelming fresh produce. We all seem to feel that it’s better to hop in our cars and head to the grocery stores ourselves, rather than risk having some disinterested shop assistant toss random groceries in a bag.
Magic is determined to turn that on it’s head. Our shoppers are passionate about selecting fresh produce even better than you would. They’ve been empowered to do this through training by Silwood-qualified private chefs, who give them the in-store skinny on which fruit to squeeze and which to smell, on reaching to the back of the shelf for the freshest items and much more.
